What we make
Small games, built with web technology for browsers and smartphone apps. The catalogue has an introduction to each game and a link to play.
Browser play makes it easy to try a game. A link works in a group chat, on a whiteboard as a QR code, and in an email to someone who has never installed a game in their life.
The rules we work to
- Easy to try. Our browser games need no installation. Smartphone apps are another way we build on the same web technology.
- No game account. You can play without registering. Progress and records stay on your device; they do not sync between devices or platforms.
- Learn by playing. Clear controls and instructions should help you get started without a long setup.
- One input. Every game is playable with a single pointer, which is what makes a phone and a desktop the same target rather than two ports.
- Free browser play. Apps may offer optional purchases. We explain what they do in the game's description so you can decide whether they are useful to you.
How they are built
Everything is web technology, chosen per game rather than standardised for its own sake. Break Works is 3D, and every run of it replays exactly — which is why a shared link carries a whole collapse in a few hundred characters rather than a video. Block Pong runs a rigid-body simulation on matter.js, which is the reason a shot two degrees off does something completely different.
This site is a static page: no framework, no client-side routing, three stylesheets and one small script that slides the header in. It loads quickly because there is not very much of it.
Where things live
Each game runs on its own subdomain, and this site is the index. Splitting them that way means any one game can be rebuilt or replaced without touching the rest, and it is why the address bar changes when you press play. Formula Warriors and Block Pong sit on game5.app, from before this site existed; they are the same studio's work and they are staying up.
Talking to us
Bug reports, questions and press enquiries all go through Support, which lists what to include. Formal operator information — company address, representative, the privacy contact — is on 運営者情報, in Japanese, as the registered details.
